Application procedure

The process of application requires that the forms be completed in TRIPLICATE and be submitted in an envelope addressed to the Secretary, Info-Communications Authority.  Note that additional instructions, specific to the licence that is being applied for, are provided with the application forms.

 

a)    The last part of the application form is the Declaration, where the applicant affirms the accuracy of the information submitted on the form. This section of the form must have original signatures – facsimile or photocopies will not be accepted.

b)    The completed application form must be accompanied and the appropriate fee application fee paid to the Info-Communications Authority.

c)     Any additional information that the applicant may wish to provide, which cannot fit into the space provided on the forms, can be attached to the form.

d)    Each copy of the application form submitted must have attached the required documentation and any additional information that is being provided.

e)     The applicant should indicate which, if any, information provided in the application is confidential.

f)      It is advisable to include a summary sheet that itemizes all of the documents that are being submitted, including attachments.

 

Upon submission of the completed application forms, a response with be sent, acknowledging receipt of the documents and providing a timeline for response

Please Note the following:

a)    The restricted Internet Service provision of up to 20 units is particularly suited for Cyber Cafes.

b)    A Special Licence refers to any type of licence or frequency authorization granted for a period not exceeding ten days when emergency or other exigent circumstances exists and is not renewable.
